My door handle is broken. Will I need a new key when it's replaced?
This is quite a common question. You will only ever need a new key if your physical lock is replaced. Whether that is a nightlatch cylinder, mortice lock in a wooden door or a cylinder in your uPVC or composite door. Replacing the handle is just that. A new handle.

I can’t lock/unlock my door. Can you help?
Often a door that has been problematic for some time can suddenly fail. This is usually immediately after locking or unlocking the door, rendering it inoperable. This is usually a sign that the internal mechanism has failed and you will require locksmith to open and repair the issue.
Can you give me a quote over the phone?
Whilst I can and do give quotes over the phone, it is often better to come and see the problem first hand so that I can provide a more accurate quote that has little chance of changing. And as I don’t charge to do this, it is the better option as you have a more accurate quote for the work needed.
How do I remove a broken key?
If you have broken your key in the lock, then the best course of action is to call a locksmith. A locksmith will have the correct tools to remove the key without causing any damage to the lock. Please avoid youtube or DIY site advice wherever possible as this often leads to a worse situation than you started with.
